Service Awards

Feb 8, 2010

Dear Friend of Elmhurst:

The City of Elmhurst, with the Elmhurst Commission on Youth, the Elmhurst Senior Citizen Commission and Character Counts in Elmhurst, is proud to announce the 2010 service awards program to be held at Elmhurst College on Thursday May 20, 2010. The City is eager to continue its annual recognition of the volunteer efforts of both youth and adults. Please help us to make this year’s program a resounding success by nominating one or more of your special volunteers.

The nomination form may be duplicated to nominate more than one individual who has made a difference in your organization. It is also available on the City of Elmhurst (www.elmhurst.org) and Character Counts in Elmhurst web sites (www.charactercountsinelmhurst.org).

Please approach the nomination process enthusiastically and take a few minutes to nominate worthy candidates or groups of students from your organization. The procedures, selection criteria, and eligibility requirements are outlined on the following page. If you have any questions, please contact the City Manager’s Office at 630-530-3010. Mail the completed nomination form to Elmhurst City Hall, 209 N. York Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126. Nominations must be returned by March 26, 2010. Sorry, nominations received after that date will not qualify for consideration.

The City of Elmhurst Character Counts Service Awards for Youth and Adults is an outstanding program that recognizes good character and commitment to our community. We hope you will help us to continue this Elmhurst tradition by nominating an outstanding individual/s from your organization.

Sincerely,

The City of Elmhurst Character Counts
