Character Counts! is a nationwide coalition being adopted by the Elmhurst community to advocate core ethical values through the "Six Pillars of Character" - namely Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. Character Counts IN Elmhurst seeks to integrate these pillars of character into our government, schools, sports programs, religious institutions, and businesses.

Six Pillar Partners
We invite you to become a Six Pillar Partner by sponsoring a special event or training. Funds are needed to pay for training for teachers and community members interested in teaching the Character Counts program. The cost of the two-day CHARACTER COUNTS! Workshop is $300 per person. Funds are also needed for marketing and publicity materials. In-kind donations for supplies, printing/graphics, special event needs such as catering, paper products, etc. are also possibilities.

All donations and membership/sponsorship fees will be deposited and disbursed via a Board-approved process. CHARACTER COUNTS IN ELMHURST is a 501C3 non-profit corporation (application on file with IRS). Community Bank of Elmhurst will act as the fiscal agent via the Partnership for Healthier Communities Program.
